Each topic includes one to two pre-recorded lessons, depending on the size and complexity of the content being covered. These lessons allow students to learn at their own pace, revisit key concepts whenever needed, and build a solid understanding of the week's material before engaging in discussions and practical activities.

Our weekly live tutorials are designed as interactive revision and support sessions. Students can ask questions, clarify concepts from the week's lessons, work through challenging content, and engage with both the facilitator and their classmates. These sessions help reinforce learning and provide personalised academic support.
Practical sessions, or Exposure Days, take place once per term. These hands-on experiences bring Marine Sciences to life through excursions to relevant coastal and marine environments or through practical activities using oceanographic instruments and scientific measurement techniques. Exposure Days allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings and develop valuable scientific skills.
